Definition

Retail bakeries not exceeding four thousand (4,000) square feet in gross floor area where baked goods are prepared on the premises for consumption off the premises. Such baked goods shall primarily consist of breads, rolls, cakes, and cookies.

Use regulations

Bake shops shall be subject to the following provisions: (1) Such uses shall not have more than four thousand (4,000) square feet gross floor area; (2) Drive-up or drive-through facilities shall not be permitted; and (3) Bakeries larger than four thousand (4,000) square feet of gross floor area are regulated as a Low-impact Manufacturing or Processing Use.
